Description:

A selectable, stably replicating shuttle vector for expression of cDNAs in eukaryotic cells. Maintained episomally. The vector contains EBV oriP and EBNA to ensure replication as episomes in human or simian cells, even if the cell line is not EBNA positive. pcD cDNA libraries can be converted into EBO-pcD libraries by ligating the 7.4 kb SfiI fragment of EBO-pSV2-neo (containing oriP, EBNA-1, hph) into SfiI-linearized, phosphatased, pcD DNA.
